Terms of Service

By accessing or using Baffi, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and that you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@baffi.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Baffi allows you to save places, add notes, and upload photos ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display your content solely to provide the service to you.

You must not upload content that:

• Infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Contains illegal, harmful, or offensive material
• Includes personal data of others without their consent

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

Baffi allows you to import or save content from third-party sources such as social media posts, websites, or other platforms ("Third-Party Content"). You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to import, store, and share any Third-Party Content within the App.

By importing Third-Party Content, you represent that:

• You have obtained any necessary permissions from the original creator or rights holder
• Your use of the content complies with the terms of the originating platform
• You will not use Third-Party Content in a way that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights

We do not endorse or verify Third-Party Content imported by users. We disclaim all liability arising from your use of Third-Party Content.

Copyright takedowns: If you believe content on Baffi infringes your copyright, please contact us at legal@baffi.app with a description of the work, the location of the infringing content, your contact details, and a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised. We will respond promptly and remove content where appropriate.

If you share a place or collection with other users ("Shared Content"), you grant those users the ability to view (and, where you permit, copy or contribute to) that content within the App.

You remain responsible for Shared Content you create. Shared Content may include Third-Party Content — ensure you have the right to share it. If you delete your account, Shared Content may remain visible to recipients until they remove it from their own collections. We do not make Shared Content publicly accessible outside the App without your explicit action.

We reserve the right to remove Shared Content that violates these Terms.

The App may display links to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Maps, Instagram). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those services. Accessing third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App's infrastructure
• Use automated tools to access the service without our written consent

All App content, design, and code (excluding User Content) is owned by or licensed to Baffi and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our express permission.

We provide the App on a best-efforts basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baffi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data.

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Baffi operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
